  MEMBERSHIP
"I joined to listen and stayed to teach."

Local, Regional, National, and International
Members support each other for ongoing benefits

Experience-building volunteer opportunities in the New Jersey chapter expand your skills, and are available in marketing, finance, project management, meeting planning, public speaking, and leadership.

We offer the opportunity to meet other communication professionals face to face to learn from their experiences and perspectives. Members are offered significant discounts on meetings and events.

IABC membership runs for a full 12-month period and begins immediately upon receipt of full payment and application to IABC world headquarters. Members must belong to the International level of the association. (Follow this link to join IABC) In addition, if you are within 50 miles of a chapter, you must join that chapter. District/regional membership is automatic. Each chapter and district region may set its own dues; as a result, total dues amounts vary according to a member's location.

Your membership belongs to you. An IABC membership is an individual membership. It belongs to you no matter who paid for it. If your employer pays for your membership and you subsequently move to another job, you retain your membership. Your former employer can then give a free membership to your replacement with certain restrictions. This policy only covers memberships when you have left the company. If you are moving within the organization, this does not apply.

Strong International Support
