28 Advanced
Internal Communications Workshop
Ragan Communications, in association with NJ/IABC,
is pleased to present this special training opportunity for
corporate communicators in New York City on May 19-20.
Jim Ylisela
and Steve Crescenzo will discuss proven ideas and new techniques
for communicators working in every medium. At
this dynamic two-day workshop, they'll teach you how to:
- Tell
stories effectively in any medium
- Entice
employees to read your intranet
- Convince
the bosses that social media will work
- Turn
good managers into great communicators
- Make
all your communication channels work together
- And
much, much more!
Every
message has the potential to break down. Whether you're reaching
out to a department of seven or the entire organization, how
do you make sure yours won't? How do you keep nine layers
of approvals from reducing your finely-crafted copy to gobbledygook?
And how do you decide on the right mix of communication channels
to deliver your message loud and clear to employees?
In just
two days with Jim and Steve, you'll learn that:
- Print
isn't dead, and rumors of its demise have been greatly exaggerated
- Intranets
don't have to be dull. Effective does not equal boring
- Social
media isn't just for tech firms. You can do this too, and
for far less than you think
- Face-to-face
communication is the ultimate tool your executives probably
aren't using
